GAY*WATCH BERLIN is a queer empowerment sing-a-long video. The work celebrates togetherness, sexual liberation and is a manifesto of hope and strength. "GAY*WATCH BERLIN" strengthens the subcultural context and overcomes a feeling of powerlessness through lightness.

At a time when isolation, fear and uncertainty are driving forces, we need a sense of community and togetherness. The masterpiece “We are ready” from the David Hasselhoff “Baywatch” series was reinterpreted with 10 performers: GAY*WATCH BERLIN here we are. Filmed in Marzahn-Hellersdorf, on Lake Kaulsdorf, affectionately known as Kauli. The Video, a self-determination sing-along video for all queers and their allies (a real karaoke opportunity). "GAY*WATCH BERLIN" strengthens the subcultural context and overcomes a feeling of powerlessness through lightness. The lyrics celebrate togetherness, sexual liberation, difference - a manifesto of hope and strength in difficult times and saying to all: "Don’t you fear, we Queers are here!"
